These flattened hanging vases have a small hole for plant cuttings or flowers. A tried and true design, the Amphora were the first piece I designed when I started my glassblowing business in 1992 and they’re still at the top of the best selling list!
These are pieces that are not sold in a gallery because of some “imperfection”. A piece is deemed a second for a number of different reasons, it could be the shape isn’t quite what I was going for, perhaps the color is off or there is an unwanted inclusion, like a bubble or mark, or maybe it’s just not quite the size I shoot for.
